Mission Impossible opening scene Analysis
The opening scene is firstly introduced with sped up establishing shots of the mountains, these shots speed up and zoom in creating pace and adrenalin for the audience. The next shot is a long shot of a figure; tiny in comparison to its surroundings  clinging on to a mountain, this  shot is used to show the audience how enormous  the mountains are and to emphasise the danger of falling from those heights, this creates tension as we as the audience feel tense watching this figure climbing this mountain. The camera then further zooms in to the man rock climbing we as the audience can see him side on. The costume he wears is a simple vest and beige tracksuit trousers and some rock-climbing shoes that have good grip. this suggests that he is prepared to rock climb as he is wearing suitable clothing for it , the man is also showing of his arms that are very toned and strong this suggests that he is very active. https://youtu.be/K0KzvD-0rx0

Breakfast at Tiffany's (1080p) - Opening Intro Scene - Audrey Hepburn

Analysis of opening scene of Breakfast at Tiffany's

Breakfast at Tiffany's film opening scene.
The first shot we see is an establishing shot of the city we see rows of shops and building on both sides of the roads, then there is a tracking shot of a bright yellow taxi driving down the road, this catches the audiences attention as the scenery consists of dull colours which makes the Yellow taxi stand out.May suggest that there's  someone of importance in the taxi also connotes its in America as the Taxi is yellow.then in the next shot we see a women dressed in a long black dress with her hair done up high wearing pearl jewellery step out of the Taxi , as she is dressed glamorously this suggests the women may be of a higher class also attracts female audience as her costume connotes high fashion/elegance and most women give value to their appearance. What is also effective is that the women is standing with her back to the camera in this shot this connotes  mystery. The camera shot then cuts to a low angle shot of the women's head looking up at a building called Tiffany&co, this is effective as it makes the building look intimidating and suggests the building is important more important than the women and may possibly hold power over her. The next shot we see the women side on glancing through the window of the building this could suggest to the audience that she desires what is on the other  side of the window , the window may also be a symbol of a wall blocking the character stopping her from getting what she wants. There is diamond jewellery on the other side of the window in the building this suggests wealth, the camera shot then switches to the other side so that we are looking at the character from with in the other side of the window there is a medium shot of her front, this is the first time we get to see her front. this shot empowers the audience as we get to be on the side she wants to be on.Through out this scene there is classical soothing music to suggest wealth and class.Mes-en-scene
The city is not represented as busy but sophisticated and serene this is later emphasised by the women's costume which is a black formal fitted long dress along side pearl necklace her hair is also done up high in a neat manner she's wearing sunglasses, black gloves and her posture is full of poise. her costume suggests wealth and etiquette. the colours in this scene such as grey and black also suggest luxury and maturity.
